Day 1: Arrival on Socotra /Ayhaft National Park, Hadibo city (overnight in Hotel)
- Welcome and pick up at the airport.
- Lunch at a restaurant in Hadibo
- Accommodation at the Hotel and a short refreshment
- We will go to Wadi Ayhaft, the natural botanical garden of Socotra. Here, we can swim in the many freshwater pools and observe a high density of endemic flora and fauna including the chameleon of Socotra.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2 : Dixam Plateau / Derhur Canyon/ Fermhin Forest
After having a succulent Yemini breakfast, let’s get going to the center of the island “Dixam Plateau” (Diksam). It is 700m above sea level and is the most spectacular limestone landscape feature on the island. Dixam is a delight for all photographers, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Afterwards, we’ll go down to “Dirhor Canyon” (Dirhur) where you’ll find a natural pond and small lakes that are extremely inviting for a quick swim. The canyon is inhabited by birds of all kinds. Lush vegetation overgrows the canyon – look like a tropical garden, which is a different experience after the barrenness of Dixam. If you are a nature lover, it would feel like paradise. After spending enough time in the canyon we’ll drive up to Fermin Forest which is the last woodland of Dragon Blood Trees. Nowhere else in the world can one find Dragon Blood Trees in such densities as you’ll do here. Lunch will serviced under the shade of Dragon Blood Trees. After lunch , make a little hike in the forest and then go back to Hadio for dinner in a local restaurant and overnight at the Hotel .
Day 3 : Dihamari Marine Protected Area/ Delisha Sandy Beach
Today, we will drive you to the nearby Dihamari marine protected area. It boasts one of the richest coral reefs on the Socotra. You can relax on the beach in palm leaf huts and swim and snorkel in Dihamari Bay. Snorkeling gear can be hired there. Marine species you will see underwater include Parrotfish, Moray eel, Rays, and Sea urchins; if you are lucky, you will meet turtles. Divers can also use the services of Dihamari Diving Center and go for a dive in Dihamari or another of the superb diving spots of Socotra. Lunch will be served in Dihamari.
In the afternoon, we will visit Delisha beach with pristine white sands full of crabs. You will relax while swimming both in the sea and in a freshwater lagoon. If you are full of energy you can climb a huge sand dune overlooking the beach. There is also a possibility of watching a fabulous sunset from Delisha.

DAY 4 : Omaq white sandy Indian ocean beach/ Hayf (Zahaq) sand Dunes/ Dagub cave
After breakfast, we will head to the less populated southern coast of Socotra to the beautiful turquoise blue Indian Ocean and a place of endless white sand beaches. A relaxing afternoon awaits you; you can rest in the shade of palm trees or fully enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the surroundings. Lunch will be served at Omaq campsite.
After lunch, we will visit the Dagub cave. At the entrance to the cave, the most valuable item of the dry south coast – pure water – flows down the impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations. Dagub cave is also a popular meeting spot for locals and enjoy a picnic or a cup of tea. Then we will visit the beautiful sand dunes near the village of Hayf. A beautiful place that evokes a sense of calm is incredibly photogenic. Later in the afternoon, we will drive back to Hadibo .

DAY 5 : Homil infinity pool /Wadi Shifa /Arher freshwater creek and beach
After breakfast, transfer to Homhil plateau – a fantastic place on the northeastern tip of the island with a large concentration of Dragon’s blood trees (Dracaena cinnabari), desert roses, and frankincense trees.
Once arrived the campsite, We’ll need to take a little climb up among a dragon blood tree territory and hundreds of ancient-looking trees; then get down to reach the natural infinity pool that overlooks a valley and the Arabian Sea. The pool water is so clean and refreshing. Enjoy swimming and taking many photos; it’s the most beautiful infinity pool you’ll get to see on Earth!. later on will go trekking down along Wadi Shifa that will take us around 2 hours. It’s a hidden gem and the hike is worth it!
After we reach ,Wadi Shifa where we meet the car and driver, we will then go to Arher, where there is a beautiful long beach, the most amazing white sand, and crystal clear blue waters with sand dunes that blend into the ocean. The highest dunes on the island. Time for a swim in the sea and relax on Arher beach. A small freshwater stream feeds into the ocean, where you can have a natural bath. Next, we will go to the island’s eastern end to Ra’as Erisel – the meeting point of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean

Day 6 : Qalansiyah/Detwah Lagoon/ Shu’ab beach ( Boat Trip ) /Hadibo
Today, we head to the western part of the island, “Qalansia” (Qualansiah). Qalansia is the encapsulation of every cliché of paradise that you could possibly imagine. The beach is a long sand bar of fine white sand and a bunch of adorable crabs. Qalansia is the second largest town on Socotra. It consists of traditional Socotri houses, narrow alleyways and a beach full of fishing boats ready to set off for today’s catch or to take you to Shu’ab beach.
On the way, we’ll stop at a viewpoint overlooking Detwah Lagoon protected area. In 2007, Socotra’s Detwah Lagoon Joined the global network of wetlands of International Importance under the Ramsar convention . You can take a short walk up in order to see the panoramic view of the Lagoon that connects to the Arabian sea. In Detwah, everything is unique and pure; the endless horizon, white sand dunes, crystal clear water of the ocean, the sea birds and crabs walking around the beach. Get back to the camp for a hearty meal.
Then, we will take off your boat boat excursion to the white sands of Shu’ab. Along the way, there are good chances of seeing dolphins, and you will have the opportunity to try out the local fishing techniques yourself!
By boat, you will also pass gigantic rock massifs that line deserted small sandy beaches, cave formations and are inhabited by flocks of cormorants. Shu’ab is a beautiful beach, many visitors insist that it is the most beautiful in Socotra. You will swim in turquoise water, relax under the mangroves and enjoy your last day on the magical island.
After a morning on the beach of Shu’ab, you will board your boats back to Qalansiah for a sea food lunch with “Allaya The cave man” in his unless busy we will have the lunch in the campsite of Detwah . After lunch you can relax our walk through the lagoon of Detwah and late afternoon , we will drive back to Hadibo – approximately 1,5 – 2 hours.

Day 7 : Kalisan Canyon / Old market of Hadibo
After breakfast at a local restaurant, we’ll you drive you inland towards the Kalisan Canyon and pools. It’s an off-road drive and a 45-minute trek to get here but it is well worth it. The drive will go through the Momi Plateau that hosts a large number of blooming Adenium obesum and other endemic rare plants.
Once we arrive Kalisan Canyon, We’ll by then take an easy walk and you’ll be blown away with the beauty of the landscape. Expect to see a spectacular river bed and natural pools at the bottom of the canyon. You can take photos, swim, take a bath, or jump from the ledges into the clear water. After a little relax among the natural pools, Lunch will be served. After refreshment and a picnic lunch, climb up for an hour and a half on easy terrain back to the car.
After lunch , we will drive to the hotel . Rest and shower till late afternoon, a walking the old market of Hadibo and shopping .
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the the Hotel.
DAY 8 : Departure from Socotra
- Check out from Hotel.
- Breakfast at a restaurant Hadibo.
- Before transporting to the airport, we can stop at a heritage and souvenir shop run by Socotri women to support local Socotri women and enhance their income and livelihood.
